Illustration Services
This is where your story starts to take shape… literally! I break my illustration process down into four stages, so you always know what’s happening and when. Think of it as a friendly roadmap from idea to finished artwork.
1. Concept Sketch
The rough stage — where ideas get scribbled, shapes start to form, and we explore composition and layout. You’ll get a clear sense of how each illustration will flow on the page (even if it’s still a bit wobbly at this point). Up to four rounds of revisions are included to make sure we’re heading in the right direction.
2. Polished Sketch
Once the concepts are approved, I refine everything — clean lines, proper proportions, facial expressions, and all those lovely little details. This is where your characters start to feel alive. You can request up to three revision rounds at this stage.
3. Colour Test
Now we add colour! This stage is about finding the perfect palette, mood, and energy for your book. You’ll see the world come to life in glorious colour, with two rounds of colour adjustments available to fine-tune the vibe.
4. Final Illustration
The grand finale! I add texture, shading, lighting, and all the finishing touches to make each piece sing. At this point, your illustrations are ready to shine in print or digital form. One final round of minor tweaks is included to get everything just right.

Book Design & Formatting
Your story deserves to look its best, inside and out. I offer two levels of support depending on where you’re at in your publishing journey:
Book Design – Perfect if you’re starting from scratch and need your manuscript transformed into a beautifully designed book. I’ll handle everything from page layouts and typography choices to overall visual flow.
Book Formatting – Ideal if your text is already placed and you just need a professional polish to get it looking clean and ready for Amazon or print. Simple, smooth, and stress-free.
With both options, you’ll be provided with:
- Print Read Interiors for POD or Offset Printing
- Print Ready Cover Wraps for POD or Offset Printing
- Fixed Layout (for picture books) or Reflowable eBook (reflowable eBooks for chapter books or novels only)
- JPG of Front Cover for Marketing
- Presentation files, saved as high quality PDFs for school visits or author visits.
- Sharing Files, sabed as low quality PDFs that can be emailed to reviewers and beta readers
- 3D mockups of your book that you can use in marketing
